'OK so the post that has my tragic paint sketches. There is a slight mix up (more like really bad english. Sorry I'm German.) of words. In the kitchen you will find it says "highered kitchen" and what it is meant to say is 'raised kitchen'.... Just in case anyone was wondering what a highered kitchen was haha, I dont think I would know what one was if I read that..

Well I have been in the process of doing my SDI questions. I have found that many of the questions have the same type of answers just worded differently.. it is rather annoying. and sort of difficult to answer.

HOWEVER I have had to leave the campus due to the fact that CALUM (guy from work) has not shown up for work today and the cafe has been closed for the past two hours.. haha ok so kinda not funny as nobody knowns where he is.. :s

Sims

Was looking through a Harvey Norman cat. the other day. And Found the Sims Interior design package and it costs like $10-$15 so i think we might go have a look at it and possibly buy. There was also another Sims thing however i cannot remeber what it was called.

well the house has taken a new design to it. original entrance is still there. there has been a hall way created between the entrance and the entertainment room and the kitchen. (less confusing on image drawn up on paper). the kitchen will be on about a 3 step higher possition compared to the dining room and the lounge room will be lowered. there is a toilet with sink on this level. down stairs is a rumpus room and a bathroom, toilet room and two bed rooms. both bed rooms have a veranda between them and surrounding water feature (rain water from roof and will be used in the house).<---- bottom level...

Deciding how to design the entrance and what room shall follow it. Designed a nice staircase going down and one going up however the design would have taken up to much space and made the room nearly useless other than simply having it as a foyer. so it has been scrapped and the rooom shall now become part lounge and uncertain of the rest..

Ok so starting to get back to work. last week Aletia and I presented our slide show which I dished up in a matter of minutes. I found it rather entertaining. It was rather basic and just outlined what we want to do in rather brief and non descript detail. However Im sure it got the idea across.

Aletia and i have both agreed that ideas for our originally designed house were far too large and although the house would be enviro friendly it would in actual fact be contradictive as the unnecessasry size of our house would cost a whole heap to build, maintane and own.
We are now looking at many different house designs..

Our House

I have just been discussing the further developements of our house with aletia. We have so many ideas for it and are having to cut down a bit but then again this house is intensly large and is just going to be the coolest!! We have decided to put a global warming friendly theme to it. Part of the roof shall be made of grass and there will be a mini rain forest possibly minus leaches because they are scary... they house will be powered by solar panels and we will try and make it water efficient.

i would love to live in the house it would be so funky fun.. and it even has a club room down the bottom :P
